Our Pre School provides an environment which enhances children's learning and provides the play opportunities and new experiences to develop their abilities in all areas and grow in confidence. 

Our Pre School staff have years of experience and attend lots of training to allow them to observe children effectively and extend their learning whilst recording their progress and achievements.  The days are slightly more structured offering children the opportunities to engage in both child-led and adult-led activites incorporating individual childrens interests. However spontaneous play is still allowed for with many ideas coming from daily circle time or children's experiences at home !     

Children partake in many extra classes such as music and movement, sports activities and language lessons using outside professionals. Phonics and numeracy skills are introduced as well as ICT, including wireless internet access throughout the building and an interactive whiteboard, which all add different dimensions to childrens learning.  Exciting outings are arranged to places within our community with specific interests in mind such as allotments, farms and librarys enabling the children to learn more about the world around them.     

Outdoor play is a big focus to develop those gross motor skills with lots of running, building and climbing. Or even camping with our tent and sleeping bags or hiding in our den !

Children are allowed to flourish with our support and guidance, preparing them for school when the time comes. Throughout their time with us we hope that they will have acquired the foundations of all the skills for the future they will need !
