Children of this age enjoy exploring boundaries and developing their skills in every area. Our 2-3's room is bright and spacious offering the facilities to partake in lots of activities in larger or smaller groups.  Like our Toddler room, the space has many areas which can be continually accessed by the children such as water and sand play, mark making, construction and a book area. The room also has a role play area which may change dependant on childrens interests - one week an airport, another a hospital !  Again the free flow access to outdoors is invaluable, allowing the children to choose where they want to go and allowing for lots of fresh air and exercise.         

Our staff are skilled and experienced in developing the social skills of children, encouraging their language in many ways. Circle time is a daily event where children can express themselves freely and our staff can introduce signs and visual symbols helping children to communicate. There is an emphasis on creating 'Communication friendly' spaces for children to access, where they feel comfortable to chatter away enabling staff to capture those all important observations. 

Parent Partnerships are continued for toilet training, to ensure that we are able to follow the routines of home and create independence for every child.    

A child's Learning Journey continues through purposeful play in a rich and stimulating environment.
