We believe that children learn differently outdoors and love to be outside. Therefore we aim to provide outdoor play opportunities as much as possible, regardless of the weather. Each room has their own outoor space , which can be accessed from their room, creating a free-flow from inside to an outdoor environment. This provides children with the choice to stay indoors or go outside if they wish. Each area is secure and protected by retractable canopy's giving UV protection in the summer months and showerproof in the wetter weather, this enables our children to enjoy the outdoors whatever the english weather may bring !

As well as these dedicated outdoor areas for each room, we also have a large outdoor play area for all age groups to enjoy, where children can learn to build, climb, hide in the den or just run off that excess energy ! We also have a seperate garden area with wooden role play equipment such as a boat and a train. The garden has a large sand pit and a flowing water feature as well as a growing area where children can grow their own plants, herbs and vegetables. 

Our staff team ensure that when planning activities they can be enjoyed outdoors as well as inside and follow the children's interests, allowing them to learn through their play whereever they naturally want to be. Every area has resources that are interesting and exciting such as mirrors, chalkboards, sand, water and general play equipment. 

So - whether its with wellies and raincoats or sunhats and suncream - we are always ready for fun outside !
