At Clockwork Day Nursery we are passionate about providing the very best for your child. We aim to create a warm, friendly and stimulating environment that is also clean, safe and secure.

We want your child to enjoy their time at nursery and develop their skills through lots of play and learning opportunities. 

We believe that all children will learn through play and we therefore provide lots of age appropriate equipment,  resources and experiences throughout the nursery to enhance their learning. 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework for all our children from birth to 5 years which recognises children as individuals and competent learners. We are able to deliver the framework and it's principles though a well planned, play based approach to learning and development. 

Our staff team have all had appropriate training in order to deliver the commitments of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and are able to provide children with play and learning experiences for each stage of their  development and help them to develop new skills. We are well placed to support any children that may have any special needs, having a trained SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) for every age group. Our Senior Language practitioner is able to promote all children's language skills throughout the nursery, by implementing techniques and using resources discovered on training and by liaising with outside professionals.      

However we believe that as parents and main carers, you are best placed to support your child's learning and feel it is important to have input from parents about their child's learning and development. Therefore we encourage parental involvement at every stage of a child's time with us in order for us to offer a cohesive, comprehensive care package for every child.
